Privacy

Short version: Google Analytics is off unless you choose to allow it. Advertising and personalization stay off.

Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate, bot-filtered traffic measurement without placing a cookie in your browser.

Google Analytics is optional and denied by default. The Google tag is not loaded unless you select “Allow site analytics.” If you allow it, Google Analytics may set first-party _ga cookies and process page, device, approximate-location, and referrer information so I can understand which pages are useful. Advertising storage, ad-user data, and ad personalization remain denied.

Your analytics choice is stored locally in this browser. You can change it at any time through in the footer. Turning analytics off stops future Google Analytics collection from this browser and the site attempts to remove its Google Analytics cookies. Declining does not affect access to any page.

Local preferences

If you change the light or dark theme, the browser stores that preference locally on your device. The browser also stores your analytics choice so the site does not ask on every visit. These preference values are not sent to me.

Distribution

Newsletter and social distribution are currently TBD. This site does not currently ask for or store a subscription email address.
